Job description

Castle Employment Group is working with a well-established manufacturer in North Yorkshire to recruit a Quality Inspector. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to play a key role in ensuring product quality and safety in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.

What You'll Be Doing:
  1. Inspect composite and metallic components using technical drawings and process instructions.
  2. Perform goods inward inspections, validating parts against specifications.
  3. Operate or program CMMs and 3D scanning tools (experience with Wenzel Quartis/VX Elements is a plus).
  4. Validate paint quality using DFT, WFT, gloss and pinhole gauges.
  5. Ensure all inspections comply with health and safety standards.
  6. Maintain accurate documentation and job cards.
  7. Work collaboratively with production teams and report on opportunities for process improvement.
Who We're Looking For:
  1. Experience in quality inspection in a manufacturing environment.
  2. Skilled in using manual measurement tools (verniers, micrometers, etc.).
  3. Strong attention to detail and high standards of accuracy.
  4. Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  5. Background in composite materials and adhesives (beneficial).
  6. Experience in cleanroom or electrical assembly environments (advantageous).
