Our client is a leading, well-established, and respected manufacturing business. Due to increased work demand, our client is looking for a quality inspector.

Ideally, our client is seeking someone with experience in the inspection of machined components.

Duties:

1. Inspect parts coming from the machine shop (internal) and suppliers (external) to ensure they meet the drawings.
2. Raise Inspection Reports when a part is non-conforming and follow up on the issue.
3. Inspect parts according to factory priorities.
4. Inspect first-offs from the machine shop.
5. Prepare Inspection Reports with comprehensive information.
6. Notify suppliers if a part is incorrect.
7. Support the Assembly Department during night shifts with required inspections.

The ideal candidate:

• Engineering background with the ability to read drawings.
• Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers.
• Experience reading and running programs on a CMM machine (advantage).
