Job description

Clark Resourcing Solutions are currently assisting our prestigious client in sourcing a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Inspector (CMM), to join the facilities in Lancaster on a full time permanent basis.

The successful candidate will provide goods Inwards and in-process quality control services and documentation in accordance with processes and procedures.

Duties For Quality Engineer / Inspector

• Goods inwards inspection including first principle measurements.
• Patrol inspection / in process inspection.
• Implementation of inspection regimes and best practice.
• Inspection of assemblies.
• Management and maintenance of Inspection tools & calibration schedule for own area.
• Program and operate Roma-arm use and Mitutoyo CMM running QCT Software with CAD Model Programming.
• Document management; NCRs, good inwards paperwork, material certification etc.
• Product traceability and labeling.
• Perform First Article inspection to EN 9102.
• Conduct internal and Supplier Audits to support the audit schedule
• Assist with any other duties as and when required within the Quality or Operational Departments
  
  

Quality, Health And Safety

• Support to develop, implement and maintain quality assurance protocols.
• Responsible for ensuring teamwork in compliance to legislation and standards (IS0 9001, 45001 etc).
  
  

Our ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and working knowledge of the CMM, including program measuring the machine from an existing cad file. Computer literate and ideally knowledge of Faro Arm.

Ability to read engineering drawings and generate reports. Hand-held measuring instruments and Roma Arm / Motorized CMM with QCT Software.

• Familiar with the use of ISO 9001 documentation and processes.
• Previous experience with interaction and management of suppliers.
• Driving licence and Fork lift licence are required.
