Qualifications

• Experience in quality inspection or QA within manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of technical drawings and 3D models.
• Experience operating a CMM.
• Able to work independently and manage workload.

Responsibilities

• Carry out detailed inspections of materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Use manual measuring equipment alongside CMM, 3D scanning, and measuring arm technology.
• Analyse inspection data and produce reports to identify trends and support corrective actions.
• Monitor scrap levels and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with production to maintain workflow and component quality.
• Produce First Article Inspection (FAI) reports to customer specifications.
• Assist in developing and improving quality control procedures.
• Support internal audits and external inspections when required.

• Use a range of manual measuring equipment alongside CMM, 3D scanning, and measuring arm technology
• Analyse inspection data and produce reports to identify trends and support corrective actions
• Monitor scrap levels and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Work closely with production to maintain workflow and component quality
• Produce First Article Inspection (FAI) reports to customer specifications
• Assist in developing and improving quality control procedures
• Support internal audits and external inspections when required

Requirements

• Previous experience in a quality inspection or quality assurance role within manufacturing
• Strong understanding of technical drawings and 3D models
• Experience operating a CMM
• Confident using manual measuring equipment
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Positive, proactive attitude with a team-focused approach
• Background in precision engineering or similar environment is advantageous
