Job summary

Advantage Resourcing UK Ltd in Oxfordshire is recruiting a Quality Inspector on a 12 Month Contract. The role offers an hourly rate of £29.44 Umbrella and requires the ability to obtain UK SC clearance, with a standard 35-hour week.

You will work with the logistics team, ensuring quality gates before items enter P145 storage, and liaise with Safety & Compliance and MRO teams to uphold quality standards in aerospace.

Responsibilities

• Receipt and evaluation inspections of complex components and assemblies using pre-set inspection plans.
• Ensure compliance with all associated quality procedures, airworthiness control plans, and quality management system requirements.
• Inspect finished products to ensure conformance with MAA/FAA/EASA Part 145 specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain material batch and manufacturer traceability information.
• Issue Discrepancy Reports and assist in resolving customer complaints and supplier quality problems.
• Document and record non-conformance issues concerning business operations.
• Represent the Quality Management Department in internal meetings and modification programs.

Quality Inspector

12 Month Contract

The largest aeronautics and space company in Europe is looking to recruit a Quality Inspector for an initial 12 Month Contract.

For this role, you will be required to be able to obtain a minimum of UK SC clearance.

Hourly Rate: £29.44 Per Hour Umbrella

Inside IR35

Standard 35 hours per week (working 4.5 days)

Role Overview

Working closely with our logistic team, and reporting directly to the Logistic Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring quality gates are followed before any item is included on the companies P145 storage. Within this role you’ll also be in close contact with our Safety & Compliance and Maintenance Repair Operations team

Responsibilities

• Receipt and evaluation inspections of complex components and assemblies using pre-set inspection plans
• Ensure compliance with all associated quality procedures, airworthiness control plans, and quality management system requirements
• Using aerospace knowledge and expertise to inspect finished products, thereby ensuring conformance with MAA/FAA/EASA Part 145 specifications and established quality standards, including customer requirements
• Maintain material batch and manufacturer traceability information
• Issue Discrepancy Reports and assisting in the resolution of customer complaints and Supplier quality problems
• Document and record non-conformance process issues concerning business operations
• Represent the Quality Management Department during internal meetings, working committees and modification programs
