Duties and Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints, schematics, and specifications to perform inspections on products including hose assemblies and government kits.
• Use measurement tools to ensure compliance with hose order specifications and quality standards.
• Review paperwork completed by Production staff to verify correct components were used.
• Label all completed orders and cross-check paperwork for accuracy.
• Maintain records and documentation of quality activities, ensuring accuracy.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior machine shop experience is preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure and good math skills required.
• Ability to interact well with various departments within the organization.

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong attention to detail.
• Works well in a team environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook.

Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those necessary to perform the essential functions of this job. While performing duties, employees are required to:

• Speak clearly and hear.
• Be comfortable standing for most of the day. This is a hands-on position with minimal desk work.
• Bend, stoop, sit, stand, reach, and lift items up to 50 lbs regularly.
