Job summary

This role involves inspection, testing, and reporting to support quality improvement initiatives. Ideal candidates will have experience in quality control and possess strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Understanding of ferrous scrap grades preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and monitor the quality of ferrous scrap materials.
• Ensure all products meet agreed specifications and internal standards
• Conduct regular sampling and testing of materials
• Maintain detailed inspection records and reports
• Identify and report quality issues or non-conformances
• Support continuous improvement and the development of quality procedures
• Adhere to all health, safety, environmental, and legal regulations

Requirements:

• Previous experience in quality control or inspection essential.
• Previous experience working in the scrap metal industry highly advantageous.
• Understanding of ferrous scrap grades and relevant specifications preferred but not essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks across multiple locations
