The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting products and components at various stages of the manufacturing process to ensure they meet required standards. You'll play a crucial role in maintaining quality assurance, supporting continuous improvement efforts, and ensuring final products meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform inspections and testing of mechanical and electrical components.
* Identify non-conformities and assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
* Use a variety of mechanical inspection tools and techniques.
* Maintain accurate records of inspection results.
* Support other departments including logistics when required.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal quality procedures.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

* Prior experience in a mechanical/electrical inspection role within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
* Competence in using manual measurement tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers).
* Working knowledge of regulatory standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, GMP, or FDA.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Good IT skills including use of Microsoft Office and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
* Formal qualifications such as a mechanical apprenticeship or relevant vocational training.
* Strong awareness of health and safety practices.
* Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
