Rapid Hire Recruitment Ltd T/A Kenect Recruitment is seeking a Quality Inspector (Paint) for their Banbridge operation. The role focuses on inspecting painted components and finished products to ensure quality standards are met, with close collaboration to identify non-conformances and support continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has paint inspection knowledge, reading engineering drawings, and hands-on use of inspection equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quality Inspector in manufacturing or engineering.
• Knowledge of paint inspection, coatings or surface preparation.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and quality documentation.
• Experience using inspection and measuring equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and team-working abilities.

Quality Inspector (Paint) – Banbridge

Location: Banbridge | Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 | Hours: Monday–Thursday 7:00am–5:00pm; Friday 7:00am–4:00pm

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering and manufacturing company for a Quality Inspector (Paint) to join their team in Banbridge. This role supports maintaining high standards across manufacturing operations with opportunities for career development.

Responsibilities

• Inspect painted components, surface preparation and finished products to ensure they meet company and customer quality standards.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to identify non-conformances.
• Complete inspection reports and support continuous improvement across the business.

What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)

• Previous experience in a Quality Inspector role within manufacturing or engineering
• Knowledge of paint inspection, coatings or surface preparation
• Ability to read engineering drawings and quality documentation
• Experience using inspection and measuring equipment
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
