Job description

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Inspector to join a leading and growing manufacturing company based near Christchurch.

Introduction

The primary role of the Quality Inspector will involve inspection and testing of machined and assembled components.

Responsibilities

1. Inspection and testing of machined and assembled components
2. Using standard measuring tooling
3. Experience with CMM and/or NDT inspection techniques would be beneficial, although training will be provided. This is a great opportunity to progress within CMM and/or NDT.
4. Preparing FAIR reports and other related reports, including non-conformance reports
5. Working in accordance with all H&S procedures and processes

Ideal Experience

The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical inspection within a manufacturing environment, with proficiency in using standard measuring tools and report writing. Any experience with CMM and/or NDT would be an advantage.

Salary

£33,500 - £37,500

Hours: 37 per week (Choice of working patterns)

Overtime: Paid at Time 1/2
