Job summary

Matchtech is partner­ing with a Formula 1 team to recruit a meticulous Quality Inspector for all shifts. You will verify components against drawings, uphold tight tolerances, and help release parts in a fast-paced racing environment.

You'll use PolyWorks and PC-DMIS for inspection, read engineering drawings, and contribute to continuous improvement with clear non-conformance reports and attentive communication.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with PolyWorks (essential).
• CMM programming using PC-DMIS.
• Confident use of inspection arms.
• Solid understanding and practical application of GD&T.
• Experience with metrology bench equipment & standard inspection tools.
• Familiarity with laser part marking equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Quality Inspector - Contract (Formula 1) | All Shifts | Inside IR35

The Opportunity

We're working with a leading Formula 1 team who are looking to bring in experienced Quality Inspectors to support their high-performance manufacturing environment. The Role

As a Quality Inspector, you'll play a key role in ensuring components meet strict engineering and racing standards. Working closely with the Quality Control Manager and Team Leaders, you will:

• Inspect components against detailed engineering drawings
• Ensure compliance with tight tolerances and specifications
• Support efficient processing and release of parts
• Produce clear and concise non-conformance reports
• Contribute to continuous improvement within a fast-paced environment

Rates (PAYE)

• Grade 1: £29.91 per hour
• Grade 2: £23.23 per hour
