Job summary

Matchtech is recruiting a Quality Inspector on a contract basis (Inside IR35) for a leading Formula 1 team’s high-performance manufacturing environment in Motorsport Valley. You will inspect components against drawings, using PolyWorks and PC-DMIS, with CMM programming and inspection arms.

You will ensure tight tolerances, prepare non-conformance reports, and contribute to continuous improvement in a fast-paced setting. Start ASAP with all shifts available.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with PolyWorks (essential).
• CMM programming using PC-DMIS.
• Confident use of inspection arms.
• Solid understanding and application of GD&T.
• Experience with metrology bench equipment and standard inspection tools.
• Familiarity with laser part marking equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

The Role

As a Quality Inspector, you’ll play a key role in ensuring components meet strict engineering and racing standards.
Working closely with the Quality Control Manager and Team Leaders, you will:

• Inspect components against detailed engineering drawings
• Ensure compliance with tight tolerances and specifications
• Support efficient processing and release of parts
• Produce clear and concise non-conformance reports
• Contribute to continuous improvement within a fast-paced environment

Rates (PAYE)

• Grade 1: £29.91 per hour
• Grade 2: £23.23 per hour
• Grade 3: £19.68 per hour
