Job summary

Unicorn Resourcing Limited is seeking a Quality Inspector in Waterbeach, Cambridgeshire to inspect and verify products against drawings and customer documentation. The role is onsite, 37.5 hours per week, with a 1pm finish on Fridays, and starts ASAP.

You will use calipers, gauges and other measuring tools, conduct internal audits, maintain regulatory records, and support FAIR/AS9102 processes as needed within a quality-focused aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to use measuring equipment such as rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers to inspect, test, and measure products (Essential).
• Strong proficiency in reading technical engineering drawings (Essential).
• FAI processes knowledge would be beneficial.
• Experience with customer drawings and supporting documentation for correct product manufacture and assembly.
• Experience conducting internal departmental audits.
• Experience in regulatory document recording.
• Good working knowledge of Quality procedures.
• Understanding of FAIR process to AS9102 would be beneficial.
• Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing quality systems is desirable.

Quality Inspector Start Date: ASAP Salary: £28,000 - £32,500 depending on experience Location: Waterbeach, Cambridgeshire Hours: 37.5 hours Monday to Friday (1pm finish Fridays) onsite

Knowledge:

• Previous history and knowledge of FAI processes would be beneficial.
