Job summary

Fortis Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Quality Inspector for a day shift in Basingstoke. The role requires familiarity with GD&T and the use of metrology equipment including CMMs.

You will read engineering drawings, measure to tight tolerances, and work in a regulated environment, ensuring inspection reports are accurate. Qualifications

Job description

I am working with a great mechanical engineering client based in Basingstoke to recruit a quality inspector to join their team on a day shift. You will be familiar with GD&T and competent with a variety of metrology equipment ranging from micrometers to CMMs.

The successful quality inspector will be able to read engineering drawings and measure to tight tolerances, ideally having worked in a highly regulated environment such as aerospace.

You will be measuring parts created internally, by 3rd parties and on NPD. The inspector will fill in inspection reports so attention to detail is an absolute must.

This role is a Monday to Friday position with a slightly earlier finish on Fridays.
