Job summary

MTL Advanced is seeking a Quality Inspection Team Leader in Rotherham to lead the QA Inspection team and ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications. The role requires hands-on leadership, with experience interpreting engineering drawings and using inspection tools like CMM and Faro arm.

Responsibilities include coordinating workloads, coaching the team, and liaising with Quality Engineering to resolve issues while maintaining adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Previous quality / inspection experience in a metal engineering manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge using inspection methods (CMM, Faro arm or alternative, Vernier, Tape, Rule, Bevel Box etc.).
• The ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of problem-solving techniques.
• A flexible approach to adapt to changing requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.
• Experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate and support the day-to-day activities of the QA Inspection team.
• Allocate workload efficiently and ensure production priorities are met.
• Provide guidance and coaching to develop technical capabilities.
• Liaise with Quality Engineering to resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
