Job summary

Lakefield Neurological Centre, part of Elysium Healthcare, is seeking a Quality Improvement Lead on a 9-month fixed-term contract. You will lead governance-driven quality initiatives across a neurological service, analysing data, embedding best practices, and driving improvements in safety and person-centred care.

The role requires strong communication, governance knowledge, and proficiency with MS Office. A flexible, confidential, and team-focused approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a neurological setting is beneficial.
• Solid governance, safeguarding, and contractual reporting knowledge.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor completion of clinical quality audits and action plans.

What you will be doing

Quality Improvement Lead, you’ll work closely with clinical teams and senior leaders:

• To monitor completion of clinical quality audits and associated action plans.
• To oversee clinical competencies and ensure compliance throughout the unit.
• Oversee cascading of lessons learned and ensure changes are embedded.
• Provide assurances within the governance framework with regards to clinical quality compliance
• To lead quality improvement initiatives within the unit.
• Work closely with the training department with maintaining high compliance.
• To ensure that both internal and external compliance measures are achieved and maintained and enabled to be evidenced.
• Monitor, report and escalation any clinical risks or concerns associated with audit processes.
• Support with trend analysis from audits and clinical information and escalating accordingly.
• Support the compilation of reports for governance and communicate findings and content within the meeting.
• To lead on service improvements initiatives based on internal and external repots and action plans.

You’ll be a key driver of quality assurance, helping us to acheive a "good" our CQC rating and build on our commitment to safe, responsive care.

Lakefield’s Neurological Centre, Lambourne Road, Chigwell, IG7 6HH

Lakefields Neurological Centre will be a 22-bed service that delivers specialist 24-hour nursing and therapy services for people with complex long-term neurological conditions who require ongoing support and assistance to maximise their functional ability and improve their quality of life. The Centre specialises in neuro-rehabilitation, tracheostomy and ventilator care.
Bedrooms are adapted to individual requirements, fitted with high dependency equipment including ceiling track hoists, wall mounted suction and oxygen equipment. There are also well-equipped therapy facilities, spacious lounge areas and wheelchair access to beautiful gardens.
