Job summary

Computerworld Personnel Ltd in Cardiff is seeking a Quality Improvement Engineer to support continuous improvement in a highly regulated production environment. You will drive projects to reduce defects and boost process performance.

You will investigate quality issues, analyse data and work with stakeholders across departments to implement corrective actions and enhance product quality. A competitive salary up to £62,000 with a 10% bonus and a comprehensive benefits package are included.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (medical devices, pharma, life sciences).
• Proficient with RCA, 5 Why, Fishbone, FMEA or similar quality tools.

Responsibilities

• Drive quality improvement projects to reduce defects and improve process performance.
• Investigate quality issues, non-conformances and customer complaints with root-cause analysis.

A leading manufacturer is seeking a Quality Improvement Engineer to support continuous improvement activities within a highly regulated production environment.

The Role

• Drive quality improvement projects to reduce defects and improve process performance.
• Investigate quality issues, non-conformances, and customer complaints, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Analyse quality data and trends to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve quality standards and operational performance.
• Support initiatives aimed at reducing Cost of Quality and improving process robustness.

About You

• Degree qualified in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.
• Experience within a regulated manufacturing environment such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences.
• Strong problem-solving skills with knowledge of RCA, 5 Why, Fishbone, FMEA, or similar methodologies.
• Confident working with stakeholders across multiple departments to deliver change.
