Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Regulation and Quality Improvement Team at Barchester Healthcare as a Quality Improvement and Regulation Manager. The role involves supporting the business in achieving regulatory compliance and driving continuous quality improvements across the organization. The successful candidate will have experience in health and social care regulation, quality improvement, or a related field, and will be responsible for monitoring data, providing feedback, and leading on key quality improvement projects.
Main duties of the jobThe Quality Improvement and Regulation Manager will be responsible for planning and delivering the annual Quality Improvement Review (QIR) and support visit schedule, monitoring and reviewing data to inform risk-based responses, providing day-to-day support and guidance on regulatory and quality improvement matters, and drafting reports and action plans to drive quality improvement. The role also involves attending regional meetings, working on the Regulation Duty Desk, and contributing to key quality improvement projects.

We have a new exciting opportunity for an additional Quality Improvement and Regulation Manager within the Regulation and Quality Improvement Team at Barchester Healthcare. This role will be covering the Hampshire & Berkshire area in England so it is preferable to have someone situated in this area.
Quality Improvement and Regulation Managers support the Lead Quality Improvement and Regulation Managers, the Director and Deputy Director of Regulation and Quality Improvement to achieve Barchester's business objectives in attaining regulatory compliance, and driving continuous quality improvements throughout the business.
The role is ideally suited to candidates who have previous experience in a quality improvement or a health and social care regulatory role and is advertised as a full time post.
The role is home based with regular travel to our services. Therefore, you must possess a full UK driving license, have access to a car and be prepared to travel. There is a requirement for some overnight stays.

Confident and enthusiastic about regulation and quality improvement
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Positive and solution focused attitude
Experience of coaching and mentoring
Ability to work to Key performance indicators and tight deadlines whilst maintaining quality and attention to detail
