Job summary

1492 Ltd. is seeking two Quality Engineers to join growing precision engineering businesses in West and South Yorkshire (Leeds and Rotherham). These full-time, permanent roles involve hands-on quality work close to the manufacturing process in smaller teams.

You will investigate issues, support day-to-day quality requirements, work with suppliers and customers, and contribute to QMS improvements and audits. This is an excellent next step for professionals in manufacturing quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in a regulated engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Good understanding of precision manufacturing quality.

Responsibilities

• Investigating quality issues and helping to identify effective corrective actions.
• Supporting manufacturing teams with day-to-day quality requirements.

• Supporting and improving Quality Management Systems and associated documentation.
• Reviewing customer requirements and helping ensure they are translated effectively into manufacturing and inspection processes.
• Supporting internal and external audits.
• Contributing to risk assessments and quality planning.

• Monitoring quality performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Supporting new products, validation and other quality-related projects.

We are recruiting two Quality Engineers to join successful, growing precision engineering businesses in West and South Yorkshire.

Both companies have established reputations for producing high-quality precision-engineered components for demanding sectors, including the medical industry. These are excellent opportunities for Quality Engineers who enjoy being close to manufacturing and want to play a visible, hands‑on role within a smaller, growing engineering environment.

Working as part of a collaborative team, you'll have exposure to a broad range of quality activities, helping to maintain high standards, resolve manufacturing and supplier issues, support customers and identify opportunities to improve processes.

The Role

About You
