Job summary

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Ltd. in Goodwood, UK, offers a Quality Engineering placement year starting July 2027. The role includes supporting apprentice onboarding, coordinating events and engagement activities, and contributing to improvements in the Quality Management System.

Qualifications

• Use initiative to take tasks from concept through to implemented solution.

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Goodwood, West Sussex (UK) – Quality Engineering - Placement Year (July 2027)

The Rolls-Royce Future Talent team is responsible for steering the training and development needs of all Intern, Graduates and Apprentices within our Goodwood office.

In the Apprentice Training area, you will be part of the team to support with all aspects of apprentice onboarding, apprentice marketing and school events. You will develop and organise apprentice engagement activities. Over the course of the year, you will build the skills needed to plan and run apprentice events including recruitment Assessment Centres and Welcome Evenings.

What awaits you?

• Support, coordination and management of specific daily tasks and longer term projects.
• Support, analysis and implementation of improvements to the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Support, coordination of Conformity of Production (CoP) and Test Equipment Management.
• Co-ordination and steering of Target Management Process and key performance indicators (KPI’s).
• Supporting the implementation of quality methods to ensure ongoing product and process improvement.

What should you bring along?

• Studying a Bachelor’s or integrated Master’s degree and on track to achieve a 2:2 or above in a relevant Engineering course.
• Any knowledge in Quality Management or similar would be an advantage, however not a requirement.
• Able to work independently and within a team.
• Use initiative to take tasks and projects from concept through to a complete and implemented solution.
