Job summary
Nottingham Building Society is seeking a Testing and Quality Engineering Manager to shape our testing strategy and lead an automation-first agenda. You will partner with Technology, Delivery and Data leaders to embed quality across the delivery lifecycle.
You will develop a high-performing team of Test Leads, Analysts and Automation Engineers, oversee capacity and supplier relationships, and report on quality, risks and release readiness to senior stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Experience leading enterprise testing or quality engineering functions.
- Strong track record implementing testing strategies and automation programs.
- Broad knowledge of testing (integrated, system, end-to-end, regression, automation, UAT).
- Experience with Agile, DevOps and product-led delivery models.
Responsibilities
- Shape the organisation-wide testing and quality strategy.
- Lead an automation-first roadmap for greater coverage.
- Embed quality across the delivery lifecycle.
- Drive continuous testing, CI/CD, API and AI-assisted testing.
- Establish testing standards, frameworks and controls.
- Standardise enterprise UAT with business engagement.
- Develop and coach Test Leads, Analysts and Engineers.
- Oversee capacity, recruitment and supplier relationships.
- Report quality, risks and release readiness to leadership.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and safety.
