Job summary

Bullfinch in the Isle of Man is seeking experienced Test Automation Engineers to join our Technology team and deliver high-quality automation across the SDLC.

You will design and maintain automated test frameworks, collaborate with engineers, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and performance testing where relevant.

The role focuses on quality, reliability, and scalable testing in a banking and wealth management environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Test Automation Engineer or similar role.
• Design, develop and maintain automated testing frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and quality engineering best practices.
• Hands-on with automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, SpecFlow.

Responsibilities

• Framework Development: design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites.
• Quality Assurance: embed quality engineering throughout the SDLC.
• Test Execution: create and run automated tests across functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end scenarios.
• Defect Management: analyze defects and support timely resolution.
• Process Improvement: implement testing standards, methodologies, and best practices.
• DevOps & CI/CD: integrate automated testing into deployment pipelines.
• Environment Maintenance: manage test data and environments.
• Reporting & Metrics: monitor test results and coverage.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: work with BAs, PO and stakeholders on test strategies.
• Non-Functional Testing: support performance and reliability testing.
