Job summary

Elite Hire is hiring a Quality Engineer to maintain and enhance our quality management systems and drive improvements across the organization. You will lead root cause analysis, manage customer and supplier quality issues, and support audits to ensure ongoing ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 / AS9100 compliance.

The role requires a degree in engineering or equivalent, at least two years in quality within manufacturing, and experience with APQP, PFMEA and control plans.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or equivalent; minimum two years in quality role.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949 or AS9100 in manufacturing.
• Problem-solving using APQP, PFMEA and control plans; interpret drawings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the quality management system (ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 / AS9100).
• Lead root cause investigations using 8D, 5 Whys and fishbone tools.
• Manage customer complaints and supplier quality issues.
• Prepare PPAP and FAI documentation for new parts.
• Run internal audits and support customer and certification audits.
• Use data and SPC to cut scrap and rework.
