Job summary

Isembard is building precision factories in the UK and beyond. This London-based Quality role owns QC on parts for aerospace, defence, energy and other critical sectors.

You will inspect, read drawings, and improve QC governance on the factory floor, partnering with machining and CAM teams to ensure first-pass quality and scalable processes. The role involves hands-on inspection, developing procedures, and ensuring MasonOS records align with manufacturing plans.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Experience in manufacturing, quality, or engineering roles.
• Willingness to work on the factory floor.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts entering QC after cleaning and perform visual and dimensional checks.
• Read drawings and part requirements and disposition rework and nonconforming parts.
• Keep MasonOS and FlatBOM accurate and ensure factory plans align with records.
• Build quality procedures and governance to prevent defects earlier in the process.
• Improve QC systems and SOPs and strengthen handoffs into/out of quality.
• Drive measurable process improvements with machining and CAM teams.
