The Opportunity - Quality Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our client’s team at their state-of-the-art facility based in Tewkesbury on a permanent basis.

Our client designs and manufactures complex mechanical products for global application in the aerospace and defence sectors.

Key responsibilities include APQP and PPAP, so demonstrable experience in these areas is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support APQP integration and implementation into NPI process.
  • Support advanced quality planning activities.
  • Incorporate customer requirements into NPI processes.
  • Integrate lessons learned into APQP activities.
  • Coordinate and monitor PPAP activities.
  • Identify and implement improvements in manufacturing processes.
  • Support cross-functional teams in addressing non-conformances and corrective actions.
  • Resolve corrective actions raised during audits.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with APQP and PPAP applications.
  • Experience working in an AS9100 environment.
  • Knowledge of PFMEA and practical experience with it.
  • Experience supporting NPI.
  • Effective internal and external communication skills.
