Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Quality Engineer for a leading metal manufacturer in Stoke-on-Trent. You will ensure quality throughout the manufacturing process, use verniers/calipers, operate CMMs and perform depth tests like 5 Why and capability studies.

The role offers £45,000-£50,000, early finish Friday, in-house training and an annual bonus, with a days-based schedule and optional overtime. Commutable distance to Stoke-on-Trent and equal opportunities employer.

Qualifications

• Are you a Quality Engineer or similar from a manufacturing background?
• Experience with quality processes and measurement equipment is valued
• Comfortable operating CMMs and performing quality tests such as 5 Why and capability studies

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process
• Operate CMM machines and use handheld measuring devices (verniers, calipers, micrometers)
• Carry out in-depth quality tests such as 5 Why and capability studies
