Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Quality Engineer (Manufacturing) in Shipley for a hands-on role in a small autonomous team. You will handle warranty claims, supplier quality and ISO audits while guiding the Quality Inspector.

Split 50/50 between office and shop floor, you will participate in continuous improvement and support new product introductions as the business continues to grow. The role offers early finish Fridays, free parking and attractive company benefits.

Qualifications

Are you a Quality Engineer with a background in manufacturing, looking to be a technical expert in an exciting and varied hands‑on role within a leading manufacturing business?

Do you want to join a company where you will be an essential part of a small team, in an autonomous position, where you will help support and guide the Quality Inspector?

In this role, you will be handling warranty claims, supplier quality, continuous improvement, spot checks and ISO audits. The role is split evenly between office‑based and hands‑on work, whilst supporting the Quality Inspector and assisting with new product introductions.

This company has been going for over 30 years, and they are now well established within their niche engineering industry. They are looking to continue expanding their customer base and maintain their current size, and as such are expanding the teams where necessary.

This role would suit a Quality Engineer from a manufacturing background, who is looking to join a well‑established company, as a vital part of the quality team.
