Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace in Hapton, England, seeks a Quality Engineer to support the Quality Leader and Operations Leaders in implementing the Quality Management System across the business, ensuring regulatory and customer requirements are met.

You will perform internal and supplier audits, investigate non-conformances, drive continuous improvement, manage risk, and provide data-driven quality oversight as a partner to shop floor personnel and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing and maintaining Quality Management Systems in aviation manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven approach.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards applicable to aerospace.
• Proven track record delivering quality improvements and process enhancements.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams across manufacturing and engineering.

Responsibilities

• Assist Quality Leader and Operations Leaders in implementing QMS across the business.
• Conduct internal and supplier audits (systems, supplier, product) and maintain audit plans.
• Investigate non-conformances, identify root causes and monitor corrective actions.
• Support business improvement initiatives and develop visual management tools.
• Review concessions, permits, and feedback to customers; monitor NCN data for trends.
• Create and manage the internal audit plan and train auditors.
