Job summary

EDF Energy Limited is seeking a Quality Engineer (Civils) for Sizewell C to support QA/QC across the project lifecycle. You will ensure contractors meet quality standards and project requirements, working with multiple stakeholders on a major UK infrastructure program.

The role requires a background in QA/QC, supplier audits, and knowledge of ISO 9001. Nuclear sector experience and IRCA qualifications are advantageous; right to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or Degree in Engineering, Science, or related discipline.
• Experience in a QA/QC environment.
• Experience conducting supplier audits and managing quality issues.
• IRCA Auditor knowledge and NDT/NDE, Welding, or Lean Six Sigma advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support QA/QC activities across civil construction works.
• Review contractor quality plans and project documentation.
• Coordinate audits, inspections, surveillance, and testing activities.
• Support management of non-conformances and corrective actions.
• Assist with supplier QA and governance activities.
• Review ITPs and quality records.
• Work with project teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure first-time-right delivery.
