Job summary

Celeros Flow Technology in Glasgow (Cathcart) seeks a Quality Engineer to manage QA activities across manufactured, assembled, and serviced products. You will ensure compliance with ISO 9001, DEF-STAN, and ASME standards while coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Role focuses on leading quality reviews, developing APQP/PPAP/FAIR processes, and driving continuous improvement in a multidisciplinary environment. UK driving licence and willingness to travel may be required.

Qualifications

• University or College Degree in Engineering or Quality Management (or significant industry experience).
• Experience of ISO 9001, API, DEF-STAN`s, NQA-1, ASME Codes and Standards, RCC-M, ASNT-TC-1A and EN ISO 9712.
• Technical competence for review of ISO/ASTM/DEF STAN Standards and customer specifications.
• Basic knowledge of HSEQ Standards.
• Continual Improvement experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality reviews of contract-specific requirements at tender and order execution phases.
• Communicate quality requirements and expectations to internal and external stakeholders (review meetings, Order Review Documents, Quality Plans).
• Coordinate with internal departments to define and resolve product quality issues; provide guidance on quality matters.
• Develop internal processes for APQP, PPAP, and FAIR.
• Lead negotiation of quality standards with customers in Quality Plans/ITPs.
• Coordinate with external customers and vendors to ensure clear understanding of quality requirements.
• Support quality initiatives and continuous improvement; promote best practices.
