Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Quality Engineer in Port Talbot with a clear progression path to Quality Manager. You will lead QA across production, work with customers and suppliers, and support ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 compliance.

Qualifications

• Quality Engineer or similar background with manufacturing experience.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 compliance.
• Knowledge of PPAP, DFMA and IPC wiring standards, Six Sigma preferred.
• Strong communication skills and customer-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality assurance and product conformity across production.
• Manage quality audits and maintain ISO 9001 & 14001.
• Support HSE activities including risk assessments and safety compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement and corrective actions with suppliers and customers.
