Job summary

Wagstaff Recruitment is seeking a Quality Engineer for a global manufacturing business in Witney. This role focuses on ensuring products meet customer expectations across UK sites, with an emphasis on strong training and career progression.

The position offers a four-day week and a balance between quality control and process improvement. The successful candidate will work with IATF 16949 and ISO14001 standards, handle APQP/NPI tasks, and contribute to audits and corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Quality engineering experience in a regulated industry.
• Experience with control plans, process flow, and FMEA.
• Experience with PPAP submissions.
• NPI/APQP context and audits experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure work practices comply with IATF 16949 and ISO14001.
• Prepare and submit Status/APQP reports to NPI teams.
• Manage customer complaints.
• Complete corrective actions on customer returns.
• Conduct internal and external audits.
• Document dimensional, material, and environmental testing of initial samples.
