Nicholas Associates is seeking a Quality Engineer – Aerospace/Power & Energy near Redditch. Join a manufacturing environment focusing on new product introductions and aerospace standards, owning parts through the full cycle from concept to manufacture.

The role emphasizes AS9100 familiarity, QA documentation reviews, and close work with the Manufacturing Manager to ensure quality across production.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with EDM machining, multi-axis laser, welding or forming metals with hydraulic presses is beneficial.
• Experience in an aerospace quality role and AS9100 is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead FAIRS and quality documentation reviews for new products.
• Own components through production from concept to completed manufacture.

• Hours: Monday to Thursday (7.30am – 4.30pm) Friday (7.30am – 12.30pm) - 39 hours per week

Overview:

With manufacturing facilities located across the UK, we now require a Quality Engineer to join the team. You will be working closely with the Manufacturing Manager tailored towards NPI and Aerospace. As part of the quality team you will have a focus around new products coming into the business, doing the FAIRS, reviewing the documents, and owning the part through production and the full cycle from concept to completed manufacture.

The ideal candidate / Quality Engineer may have some of the following experiences, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

• Previous experience working with any of the following processes - EDM Machining, Multi axis laser, welding or forming metals with hydraulics presses beneficial
• Previously worked in a quality focused role to aerospace standards AS9100
