Job summary

Whittan Industrial Limited, based at the Milton Keynes site, is seeking a Quality Engineer to support and maintain quality processes and procedures.

The role covers internal audits, NCR handling, calibration, procedure writing, and data-driven improvement, working with suppliers and shop-floor teams to ensure product conformity and customer satisfaction. Youll collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to drive continuous improvement in a busy industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of ISO standards.
• Experience in engineering & manufacturing processes.
• Methodical and organized.
• Strong written and oral communication.
• Ability to work on own initiative and train others.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Manage and influence others to achieve objectives.
• Knowledge of internal auditing.
• Able to review and flow-chart a process.
• Understanding of measuring equipment.
• Understanding of engineering drawings.
• Work with suppliers to ensure specifications are met.
• Computer literate; SAP preferable.

The Whittan Group is the largest manufacturer of steel storage products in the United Kingdom. Operating through a number of market leading brands; we design, manufacture and install storage solutions for commercial and industrial environments in the UK and Europe.

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our busy and growing organisation. The successful candidate will be based at our Milton Keynes site and will be responsible for supporting and maintaining Quality Processes and procedures for Whittan Milton Keynes.

Key Working Relationships

Key Responsibilities

• Internal Auditing of all areas
• Customer Focused / resolving customer Issues.
• Quality Inspections / Ensure product conformity.
