Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Quality Engineer in Littlehampton to drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement across a manufacturing site. You will lead root cause investigations, support ISO 9001 activities and collaborate with Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean and CI activities across the facility.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
• Support MRB activities with Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain.
• Utilise 8D, FMEA, Kaizen and PDCA to deliver improvements.

Excellent opportunity for a Quality Engineer to join a world-leading engineering manufacturer, where you will play a key role in driving Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing and Quality standards across a specialist manufacturing facility.

Are you a Quality Engineer or Continuous Improvement Engineer from a manufacturing background? Do you have experience with ISO 9001, Lean methodologies and root cause analysis? Are you looking to join a global engineering business where you can lead improvement projects and further develop your technical career?

This global engineering organisation is a recognised market leader within its field, designing and manufacturing highly engineered products for customers worldwide. As part of their continued focus on operational excellence, they are looking for a Quality Engineer to join their highly skilled operation in Littlehampton.

In this role, you will work alongside Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain teams to improve manufacturing processes, reduce defects and drive the site's Lean and Quality performance. You will lead root cause investigations and Continuous Improvement projects, support ISO accreditation and auditing activities, and utilise tools including 8D, APQP, FMEA, Kaizen and PDCA to deliver sustainable improvements.

The Role:

• Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement activities across the facility

The Person:

• Quality Engineer, Lean Engineer, Continuous Improvement Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer or similar
• Proven Quality experience within a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge and practical experience of ISO 9001
• Commutable to Littlehampton
