The Role:

So, what will you be doing as a Quality Engineer?

1. Promote a positive culture of quality, safety, and environmental responsibility across projects.
2. Liaise with clients and suppliers on quality assurance matters.
3. Investigate internal and external quality issues, driving timely resolution.
4. Conduct internal audits and supplier audits; support customer and third-party certification audits.
5. Review and approve First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) and manage PPAPs for key projects.
6. Facilitate structured 8D problem-solving with root cause analysis tools.
7. Support implementation and continuous improvement of the business management system.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, interpreting engineering drawings and engaging suppliers effectively.
9. Provide assurance and insight to senior leadership during a period of rapid growth.

What are we looking for in our next Quality Engineer?

1. Degree in Engineering or relevant Quality discipline.
2. Certified Lead Auditor to ISO 9001 (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 are a bonus).
3. Experience with APQP and PPAP is highly desirable.
4. Strong background in manufacturing environments.
5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
6. Practical, hands-on mindset with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
