Job summary

White Label Recruitment is seeking a Quality Engineer to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business in Bradford. The role focuses on strengthening quality across operations, investigating issues, improving systems, and collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to drive long-term improvements.

You will balance hands-on problem solving with quality system development, support ISO 9001/14001/45001 compliance, and contribute to supplier audits, non-conformance resolution,

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing/engineering environment.
• Engineering qualification or equivalent technical experience.
• Knowledge of quality tools and lean manufacturing principles.
• Understanding of ISO 9001 (ISO 14001/45001 beneficial).
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience in investigating non-conformances and root cause analysis.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Investigate manufacturing and assembly non-conformances using structured tools such as 8D.
• Manage and resolve customer complaints.
• Facilitate non-conformance review meetings and support corrective actions.
• Support supplier approvals, supplier audits and supplier development activities.
• Investigate product quality issues and component failures.
• Prepare and review inspection reports and quality documentation.
• Support the development and maintenance of the Integrated Management System.
• Conduct internal audits and support ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 compliance.

The Role

Requirements
