Job summary

UK Power Networks Services is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer in Central London to support major electrical infrastructure projects. You will report to the Quality & Assurance Manager, lead audits, and advise on quality planning and compliance.

You will review procedures, investigate issues, monitor supplier performance, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining ISO 9001:2015 certification. A CQI member with a UK driving licence is preferred.

Qualifications

• Quality Management Systems experience within a construction environment.
• Auditing against ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems.
• Practical knowledge of CDM 2015.
• Strong root cause analysis skills.
• A valid CQI membership (or higher) and a UK driving licence are essential.

Responsibilities

At UK Power Networks Services, you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving quality standards across major electrical infrastructure projects within the transport, defence, industrial, public and nuclear sectors.

The Role

Reporting to the Quality & Assurance Manager, you'll provide expert quality management advice, lead audits, support project teams with quality planning and compliance, review and improve procedures, investigate quality issues, monitor supplier performance and champion continuous improvement across the business. You'll work closely with project managers, contractors, suppliers and clients to ensure projects are delivered to the highest quality standards while maintaining certification requirements.

What You'll Bring

You'll have Quality Management Systems experience gained within a construction environment, experience auditing against ISO 9001:2015, practical knowledge of CDM 2015, strong root cause analysis skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. A relevant CQI membership (or higher) and a valid UK driving licence are essential.
