Job summary

JRL Group’s East Midlands facility near the A1 in Carlton on Trent is recruiting a Quality Engineer to strengthen the modular quality team. You will lead quality checks, support NPI, and ensure products meet standards and customer requirements.

The role requires at least 5 years in quality engineering, an engineering degree, and manufacturing experience. Strong analytical skills, good communication, and familiarity with Lean Six Sigma are desirable; Field View experience is a bonus.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years' experience in a Quality Engineering role.
• Degree in Engineering or similar subject.
• Background in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of quality standards / Lean Six Sigma (desirable).
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with NPI, FMEA, SPC and APQP.
• Good communication and ability to lead.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Field View software is a bonus.

JRL Group – Quality Engineer

JRL Group’s East Midlands facility is located beside the A1 in Carlton on Trent, between Retford and Newark.

We are part of a large, established group with over 14 divisions and a turnover of more than £900m, delivering construction projects across the UK.

Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:30am - 5:00pm
• Friday: 8:30am - 3:45pm (Early finish)

About the role

Join our Modular Quality Team as a Quality Advocate. You will help improve our Right-First-Time results, set up strong quality processes, and make sure our products meet all standards and customer requirements.
