Job summary

Evolito is seeking a Quality Engineer to act as the quality focal point for projects, ensuring compliance with AS9100 and regulatory requirements.

You will drive APQP activities, manage PPAP/FAIR processes, and collaborate on root-cause investigations, change management, and quality objective deployment. A strong aerospace quality background and UK driving license are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous proven experience within a Quality Engineering role, ideally within aerospace.
• Familiar with CAA regulations Part21G and Part21J.
• Knowledge of AS9100 and Process Auditing, AS9100 Lead audit preferable.
• Experience with Quality Improvement Programmes, Pareto, PFMEA, 5S, 6 Sigma or similar continuous improvement tools.
• Experience with internal and external audits.
• Experienced in the use of APQP tools and techniques, AS9145 preferred.
• Experienced in statistical analysis, process capability and problem resolution tools (8D, 5 Why, 6 Sigma etc.).
• A team player with initiative and ability to influence others.
• Full UK driver's license.

• Acting as the Quality focal on development projects

• Drive for FAIR and PPAP completion
• Acting as a business management system auditor
• Taking part in customer/supplier visits and audits as required
• Working with process owners to drive closure of non-conformances
• Leading internal and external investigations to identify root cause and corrective actions
• Involvement in change management and design for assembly/manufacture
• Support in the development and deployment of quality objectives
