Job summary

Evolito Limited is seeking a Quality Engineer to act as a quality focal point for project teams, ensuring compliance with AS9100 and regulatory requirements. The role covers APQP activities, PFMEA, and drive for FAIR/PPAP completion.

Key responsibilities include conducting audits, investigating non-conformances, and supporting change management while upholding high quality standards across multi-project programs in aerospace.

Qualifications

• Previous proven experience within a Quality Engineering role, ideally within aerospace.
• Familiar with CAA regulations Part21G and Part21J.
• Knowledge of AS9100 and Process Auditing, AS9100 Lead audit preferable.
• Experience with Quality Improvement Programmes, Pareto, PFMEA, 5s, 6 Sigma or similar continuous improvement tools.
• Experience with internal and external audits.
• APQP tools and techniques, AS9145 preferred.
• Statistical analysis, process capability and problem resolution tools (8D, 5 Why, 6 Sigma).
• Team player with ability to work on own initiative.
• Ability to influence others and maintain a positive can-do attitude.
• Flexible approach and ability to work at pace in a multi-project environment.

Responsibilities

• Supporting development and implementation of business processes and systems in compliance with AS9100 and regulatory requirements.
• Acting as the Quality focal on development projects.
• Driving APQP activities and ensuring FAIR and PPAP completion.
• Auditing business management systems and participating in customer/supplier visits and audits.
• Working with process owners to close non-conformances and leading investigations to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Involvement in change management and design for assembly/manufacture, plus development of quality objectives.

• Taking part in customer/supplier visits and audits as required
• Working with process owners to drive closure of non-conformances
• Leading internal and external investigations to identify root cause and corrective actions
• Involvement in change management and design for assembly/manufacture
• Support in the development and deployment of quality objectives

Skills and experience required:

• Previous proven experience within a Quality Engineering role, ideally within aerospace
• Familiar with CAA regulations Part21G and Part21J
• Knowledge of AS9100 and Process Auditing, AS9100 Lead audit preferable
• Experience with Quality Improvement Programmes, Pareto, PFMEA, 5s, 6 Sigma or similar continuous improvement tools
• Experience with internal and external audits
• Experienced in the use of APQP tools and techniques, familiarity with AS9145 preferred
• Experienced in the use of statistical analysis, process capability and problem resolution tools (8D, 5 Why, 6 Sigma etc.) and techniques
• A team player with the ability to work under own initiative
