Job summary

Recruit Engineering in Stockport seeks a documentation & quality support specialist to maintain production documentation, certification records, and traceability for QA processes. You'll manage documents, track changes, and ensure proper certification alignment for customer acceptance.

The role requires a degree or substantial engineering/manufacturing experience and a full UK driving licence. You will work with procurement, production, and quality teams to support audits and approvals.

Qualifications

• Engineering/manufacturing background required or substantial relevant experience.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Experience with document control and QA processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Document control and maintenance of documents in auditable format.
• Track change requests and technical queries.
• Maintain full traceability of project documentation.
• Quality checking of revisions, titles and document standards.
• Update production documentation to project timelines.
• Compile build documentation and certification for customer acceptance.
• Record traceability and verify certification meets expectations.
• Interface with customer quality representatives as needed.
• Collaborate with procurement, production and quality teams.
• Occasional inspection support during assembly and delivery.
