EXTENT OF EMPLOYMENT full-time

Based at the customer assembly plant, this role acts as the key customer contact for quality concerns and as the interface between manufacturing plants to provide feedback on these issues. It also supports delivery and sequencing issues.

Responsibilities include:

• Liaising with customer Quality Engineers/Technicians to understand concerns and acting locally or escalating to PCSB for resolution.
• Identifying quality concerns, negotiating acceptance, or arranging quarantine, return, or rework of parts.
• Recognizing and defining defects, and providing feedback to manufacturing for corrective actions.
• Understanding quality standards, including colour match standards, and training or appraising others in their use.
• Supporting 8D corrective action investigations.
• Generating reports for stock sorts and containment actions.
• Supporting customer PCPA meetings as appropriate.
• Assisting with delivery/sequence issues and providing feedback to Logistics/Planning departments.
• Providing daily reports in the agreed format back to PCSB.
