Job summary

Sartorius is seeking a Quality Controller at our Stonehouse site in Gloucestershire to ensure products meet GDP and ISO requirements. In this role you will conduct in-process inspections and release checks, review batch records, and maintain documentation in line with GDP standards.

You will join a team of dedicated QC professionals, working in a cleanroom environment, with opportunities to contribute to continuous quality improvements and cross-functional collaboration with Quality and

Qualifications

  • Experience in a quality control role in manufacturing or production environment following ISO standards would be ideal
  • Experience of working in a cleanroom and following the associated standards is desired but not essential
  • Experience of reading engineering drawings would be ideal though not essential
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience of using Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills, to be able to juggle multiple processes and priorities
  • Flexible approach to work

Responsibilities

  • Daily, you will be responsible for checking and visually inspecting assemblies and sub - assemblies in the cleanroom according to specifications
  • You will routinely check plastic parts and components, machines and processes against specifications
  • You will actively report and communicate any issues that arise to the QC Supervisor and the rest of the team
  • Liaising and working closely with Quality and Production teams continuously, including outcome of inspections and findings
  • Dealing with daily quality issues and failures and informing relevant departments of nay failures
  • You will record non - conformances and take appropriate actions
  • You will follow ISO 9001, ISO13485 and regulatory IVD requirements as well as good documentation practice (GDP) and ensure compliance at all times
  • Working part of the team as well as independently

Job description

Be part of our Quality Team at our Stonehouse site in Gloucestershire. Join our Quality team as a Quality Controller and play a key role ensuring all products produced onsite meet necessary criteria and standards by performing in- process inspections and release checks, batch record reviews and complete all relevant documentation according to GDP requirements.

Based in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire, you will become part of a team of 9 professionals who look forward to shaping the future together with you.

Working hours are Monday to Thursday 7.10 - 16.10 and Friday 7.10 - 12.10.

Your Responsibilities

What will convince us

  • Experience of working in a cleanroom and following the associated standards is desired but not essential
  • Experience of reading engineering drawings would be ideal though not essential
