Our client is an award winning, independent UK shellfish processor who has been operating in Aberdeenshire for over 25 years. We are looking for reliable and ambitious Food Production Operatives on a temporary ongoing basis.

As a Quality Controller, you will oversee product quality to guarantee it meets company, regulatory, and consumer standards.

Weekly shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 06.00 – 14.30 (the successful candidate must be flexible to work additional hours).

As a Quality Controller, your duties will include:

  • Responsible for monitoring critical control points (CCP), food safety, and quality throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Follow work instructions, HACCP, Food Hygiene Standards, and Health and Safety Standards.
  • Responsible for collecting product samples for microbiology and chemistry testing.
  • Investigate and highlight non-conformance to the QC Team Leader or Supervisor.
  • Complete scheduled audits including GMP, Glass and hard plastics, and walk away standards.
  • Complete paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
