Job summary

Straight Forward Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Quality Control Technician - Quality Systems to join the growing quality team for a role spanning two sites. The position reports to the Quality Control & Compliance Manager and involves maintaining the QMS, ensuring products meet quality, safety and regulatory standards.

Based in Attleborough and Honingham, with a 9:00am-5:00pm, Monday to Friday schedule and must have own transport to travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidate has experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance or Quality Systems.
• Experience in food manufacturing, supplements, pharmaceuticals or regulated environments is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with good organisational skills is essential.

Straight Forward Recruitment is recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Quality Control Technician - Quality Systems to join our client's growing quality team.

Locations: Attleborough & Honingham - working between both sites
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
Working Pattern: Full-time
Transport: Must have your own transport due to working across two sites

Reporting to the Quality Control & Compliance Manager, you will play an important role in maintaining the company's Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring products meet the required quality, safety and regulatory standards.

Working alongside the Operations Quality Technician, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day administration of the quality systems and provide support across the wider quality function.

Key Responsibilities

• Supplier approval and supplier record management

About You

Ideally, you will have previous experience in a Quality Control, Quality Assurance or Quality Systems role, preferably within food manufacturing, food supplements, pharmaceuticals or another regulated environment.

You should have:

• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Experience with quality documentation and record keeping
• An understanding of QMS, CAPA and non-conformance processes
• Experience or knowledge of internal audits
• The ability to review specifications, COAs and supplier documentation
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• A proactive approach to identifying and resolving quality issues
• The ability to work confidently across different departments and sites

Knowledge of GMP, BRC, HACCP, ISO standards or food supplement regulations would be advantageous.
