Job summary

Synergy Flavours Ltd in the UK is seeking a QC Technician on a 6-month fixed-term contract. You will perform quality testing and inspections of raw materials and finished products, support investigations into quality issues, and help maintain GMP, HACCP and traceability.

This hands-on role operates in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, collaborating with Quality, Production and Logistics teams to ensure product quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Essential Previous experience or knowledge gained within Quality Control, Quality Assurance, food manufacturing or a laboratory environment.
• Desirable Experience within food or beverage manufacturing, particularly in Quality Control. Knowledge of GMP, HACCP or BRCGS standards.
• Experience with quality testing, sensory assessments, audits or complaint investigations.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP or quality management systems, such as Product Vision (PV) or D365.

Responsibilities

• Carry out quality testing and inspections of raw materials and finished products, supporting timely product release and maintaining accurate records.
• Organise and support sensory evaluations, including sample preparation, testing and recording results.
• Assist with investigations into customer complaints, non‑conformances and quality issues, helping to identify and implement solutions.
• Support GMP, hygiene and quality audits, including traceability exercises and food safety activities.
• Work closely with teams across Production, Logistics, Planning and Innovation to resolve quality issues and support business priorities.
• Maintain accurate quality documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
