Job description

Rate £12.21-£12.50 /hr(neg.)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Control (QC) Technician, reporting to the QC Lead. The role offers flexible working hours, with shifts available from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM or 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday to Thursday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality inspections on incoming goods.
  • Perform quality control checks on finished products.
  • Carry out chemical analysis of raw materials and product concentrates.
  • Accurately complete all quality-related documentation, including Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs), in a timely manner.
  • Report quality control issues to both Production and Quality Assurance teams.
  • Ensure non-conforming items are properly segregated and recommend/implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Calibrate, verify, and monitor measuring devices within a laboratory setting.

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience working in a QC laboratory environment.
  • Ideally, experience testing packaging, components, raw materials, and performing blend analysis before production, as well as regular in-line sampling of finished products.
  • Familiarity with generating Certificates of Analysis (CoA) and Certificates of Conformance (CoC).
  • Strong attention to detail with a methodical and organised approach to work.
