Job description

Quality Control Technician

Location: Pershore

Pay: £12.22ph

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 7:45 AM – 1:00 PM

(39 hours per week, plus possible overtime)

About the Role:

We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to help us make sure everything we produce meets the highest standards. You’ll be inspecting products, components, and materials to ensure they’re exactly how they should be.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Inspect parts during and after production to make sure they meet quality standards.
• Use measuring tools like calipers, gauges, and measurement arms.
• Check dimensions, paint thickness, gloss levels, and more.
• Record inspection results and keep everything well-documented.
• Flag and report any products that don’t meet specifications.
• Support the team in investigating product returns and quality issues.
• Help maintain and calibrate measuring equipment.
• Work closely with the Quality and Production teams to keep things running smoothly.
• Assist with compliance documentation (ISO 9001, EN 15085, etc.)

What We’re Looking For:

• Good with measuring tools (calipers, gauges, etc.)
• Able to read engineering drawings and specifications
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of inspection techniques and quality systems (ISO 9001)
• Previous experience in a similar quality inspection role

Bonus Points if You Have:

• Auditor training
• Experience with ISO 3834, EN 15085, DIN 2303
• Knowledge of safe lifting and manual handling
• Experience using PCDMIS software
