Our team of Quality Control Operators monitor product quality, ensuring that it is manufactured to specification and that non-conforming products are not dispatched to customers.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Observing company environmental, health, and safety regulations at all times.
  2. Using established test procedures to carry out tests on manufactured products and recording results.
  3. Analyzing results and providing practical solutions.
  4. Relating to production operatives how and why tests are carried out.
  5. Working with operatives and/or supervisors to resolve quality problems quickly in cases of non-conformance.
  6. Advising management of quality-related issues.
  7. Releasing only conforming products.
  8. Minimizing waste and maintaining a clean and tidy work environment.
  9. Maintaining good housekeeping and safe working practices at all times.
  10. Maintaining accurate records according to Ball Aerosol requirements.
  11. Adhering to BRC and ISO 9001 requirements.
  12. Constantly seeking opportunities to improve processes or products.

This role involves working a rotating shift pattern, including days, nights, and weekends, with hours from 6 am to 6 pm and 6 pm to 6 am. The rotation is 4 weeks on days and 4 weeks on nights, with the following schedule:

  • Week 1: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun
  • Week 2: Wed, Thurs
